Picking up speed
Monday evening I had a phone call from camp6, and they are making good progress!
Now that they have finally reached the flat icecap, their day distances have increased: yesterday they did 20 km, and the day before 18 km. In total, the distance covered in 3 days between the previous waypoint and this one is 54 km.
The temperatures are still very high for a place that should be one of the coldest places on earth: only -2 at day, and -8 during the night. Winds are still strong, 6-7 bft from the east. This gives a windchill factor of -30.
Everybody is still feeling well, but HJ still has some trouble with his feet, and Jeffrey has blisters now too.
Finally, there is also a message about the camerateam: they will return in Holland today, and hopefully they can already provide some nice pictures to publish on this site…

Great news
At least finding a campsite should be easier now.
Hopefully they can keep up the pace.
We are also anxious to see the footage of the film crew.

Hi all,
yesterday we returned from the beauty of Greenland with a dozen hours of footage and a few hundred pictures. I will try to get some pictures through as soon as possible so it will give a clear view on the people and the landscape.
When we left the group on Saturday everybody was doing fine and as mentioned before the weather was superb. Nice sunny, not to cold and some wind.
Cheers.
